This article covers common issues that may occur when exporting records from Cognism to Salesloft and explains how to resolve them.
Salesloft returns these errors to Cognism during the export process. Reading the full error message can help identify whether the issue is related to permissions, configuration, or Salesloft itself.
Before you troubleshoot
Before investigating an export issue:
- Confirm that the Salesloft integration is connected.
- Verify that you are logged in to Salesloft.
- Ensure your organisation's field mappings have been configured.
- Review the full error message returned during export.
If you're unable to determine the cause of the error, contact your Salesloft Administrator or Cognism Support.
Cadence not visible
Symptoms
A Salesloft Cadence does not appear in the Cadence list during export.
Possible causes
A cadence may not appear if:
- It is not shared with your Salesloft user.
- The cadence name begins with a leading space.
- The cadence contains no steps.
- Your organisation has a large number of cadences, making it difficult to locate from the list.
Resolution
- Confirm that you have access to the cadence in Salesloft.
- Check that the cadence contains at least one active step.
- Remove any leading spaces from the cadence name.
- If your organisation has many cadences, type the full cadence name into the search field instead of browsing the list.

- Edit People.
- Create Accounts.
- Edit Accounts.
Once the required permissions have been granted, retry the export.
